So many threads here touch on the subject of HT integration with 2 ch.
Personally I would like to keep the 2 systems seperate. There is , however , an issue with main speakers and subs being shared by both systems. My options are , I assume , either 2 sets of mains and subs { not an economical solution } or switching cables.
2 ch. = source- GK1-R- Aksa 100n+-tara phase II with spades- mains and subs.
HT. = DVD/Sat-AVR-monster zip cord with banana plugs-5.2 speakers.
{common to both systems ,of course are the mains and subs}
Since the mains have 2 sets of binding posts, and the subs have 2 inputs, is it necessary to disconnect 1 system when the other is used? Is there any kind of switch box for this function?
I will likely disable the HT bypass on the Gk1-R to prevent my kids from blowing a hole in the wall if inadvertantly pressed.
