I have a pair of black marble 9.0's that have been sitting in their original shipping boxes in the garage for years. I am the original owner.

That is a stock photo, but is representative. It is finally time to part with them. They were in great shape last I listened to them, and I have the grills as shown below (although the grills do not fit all that snugly as I recall).
I am looking for $1200 for the pair plus actual shipping costs via UPS ground with signature delivery confirmation. They will ship out of San Diego. Two boxes. Each box's dimensions are about 20" x 20" x 25", and without weighing it I would easily call it 90 lbs each for shipping calculation estimates.

Probably so, but not sure with packaging. Estimated 90 to be safe.

check ebay and audiogon, under this handle. 100 % each 50 + transactions. Been looking a long time for 9's in black marble. Can not PM here because too new.

The black marble 9.0 pair are still available. $1200 plus shipping out of San Diego.
Pictures attached. I took them out and listened to them, and they every bit as great as I remembered them sounding. Incredibly fast bass.
Pictures attached. I put them at 7/10 condition. Some small imperfections at the edge of the faces, a very small chip at the tail of the horn on one, and a couple of scratches in the leather front baffle of one.

It looks as if you have all the original packing material, which I think is a real value - those foam pieces were custom formed to protect the drums for shipping all over the world.
The edge of the faces can probably be polished out, but certainly don't affect the integrity or sound.

A friend in Indonesia had these and was pretty impressed with them. Have always wanted a pair of my own.

Not sure appropriate to post here.
But as I am interested in sddc' marble 9.0, could fellow 9 owners chime in about their sonic qualities.
And the sort of amplications in terms of power, ss or tubes that works well with them.
