Title: Mullard 5U4G Hole In Guide Pin?
Post by: Zedguy on 24 Apr 2009, 01:29 am
I have a pair of Mullard 5U4G rectifiers with black base.  Should they have the signature Mullard hole in the guide pin?

No, Mullard 5AR4's usually have a hole in the guide pin. BTW, I don't think Mullard made a 5U4G. It is probably re-labeled. Post some pics.

I have been told it is likely a relabelled Bimar.
