DiD in black and Speaker DiDs!

Well we finally worked the bugs out of doing the black Anodized DiDs! :thumb:
Plus we finished the work on the Speaker DIDs. These are for under spikes (note the dimple in the top) on these the wood faces the floor and the metal is up. They work great on bare floors and commercial or low pile carpet, not for floors with extra thick pad etc.
The Speaker DIDs improve imaging and definition and tighten bass.

Questions for anyone who has used the speaker DIDs -

Any issues/concerns about speaker stability with the spikes sitting in the DID; are you able to shift the speaker while stationed in the DID?

Have you realized the benefits Lou noted above?

Have you experienced any detractions from the sound?

I have had no issues with stability but it doesn't work to shift the speakers when they are on the DiDs.  So far I have not found any negatives but the results have ranged from minimal to substantial. Usually thicker carpet does not work with these but this year at CAF where the room had a thick pad the results were a considerable improvement in stage and definition. Best is to try them out, and return them if they don't work.

thanks,
