A little off track but I must mention this experience:

I really like Chris Rea and discovered him via this thread. I bought a CD and really liked it.

Recently I bought the Road To Hell Farewell Tour DVD and its an almost 2 hour experience that is really awesome.

Sorry to go a little astray from the 2 ch outstanding theme!!

But if you like Chris Rea...go get this, listen, watch and enjoy!!

I just received my Mino Cinelu CD today and WOW! COOL STUFF!

I have no idea what they're singing about, but the quality and dynamics are amazing. It's a real pleasure to listen to.

I also picked up Peter Gabriel's "UP" which I'm also enjoying very much.

The entire CD sounds great, highlights are Crystalised, Heart Skipped a Beat, Shelter and Infinity.

Again, the entire CD is great, and I might as just list every song off of it.

A group of 4 20 year old Londoners. Amazing they sound this good at 20.

Really good CD, highly recommend. Not one person I have pointed towards this CD has not liked it.

Going back to 1959 (year I was born); Songs I like To Sing by Helen Humes backed by Marty Paich's band. Both singer and band really swing on these cuts, audio very good (kudos to rythm section), a very, very good (albeit not commonly recognized) jazz recording.

I took some time tonight to format the demo list spreadsheet. I uploaded it to the Salk Owners group. Take a look at it and let me know if it is not working. I used Excel07 but saved it as a 2003 format.

I tried to correct the errors where I found them (ie spellings, etc). If I incorrectly identified an album, track or artist please feel free to correct it.

An "oldie but goodie" (1989)... instrumental - Jazz Latin sound, well recorded on the Reference Recordings label....one I think you will enjoy...

(plus....used on Amazon is a bargain)
