I never put down how this amp sounds.

A one word summary: Incredible

All the iron is 60's vintage and I can make a 6BQ5 amplifier with new iron that's just as good. If you want one similar to this model, it can be done.

The nice thing about EL84's is how well the interact with tube rectification. A three stage filtering system insures pure B+ and plenty of reserve power. DC filaments are standard with all 2012 EL84 stereo amplifiers as is tube rectification. 

Listening Notes:
Ample, well controlled bass
Articulate, natural highs
Liquid, lush mids that are perfectly presented yet not bloated
Outlandishly FAST and 6L6-like dynamic range
Last but not least, that wonderful EL84 tonality
Projection capability is fantastic: Music is in front of the speakers and envelopes the listener.
