Title: how do the ref9v3se compare to the stereo 8.5 v3 to the multichannel 300se v7 ?

hi

how do the ref9v3se compare to the stereo 8.5 v3 to the multichannel 300se v7 ?

there is a comment on the nuforce web page that the stereo is close to the monos and that the multi channel is only 10% behind the monos.

hard to say what 10% would mean.

anybody with experience comparing any of the 3 mentioned amps?

i would assume running a 2ch system with stereo subs , so only 4 channels used .

All of them uses the same circuit board (with slight variations for fitting into the chassis).
The differences are in the capacitor array design and connectors.
Stereo 8.5V3 has half the size of the 9V3SE cap array.
MCH 300SEC7 has bigger cap array than 9V3SE since it has to supply multiple boards.
MCH uses connectors for speaker and inputs internally so it is not as "pure" as some would preferred.

The sonic difference of 10% between MCH and Ref9 is subjective. Some people might say the difference is very minor or unnoticeable.
