Hi all Audio Circle members.
Some of you might remember their comments when I posted my latest built the GR Research N3 Guy 13 style.
I was happy with the sound (Good for me)
and I decided to improve it,
I braced the interior of the enclosure, plus, I added some polyfill stuffing.
(The fluffy stuff they use here in Vietnam to imitate the snow for Christmas decoration.)
I hooked up the N3 to my Decware SET (Model SE84-C+) 2wpc.
Of course with so little power, I had to crank up the volume control to about 75% (1.5watt),
I’ve used my 24” Signal Cable silver Interconnect,
my Signal Cable 14ga. X 10’ speaker cable
and sit 5’ from the speakers.

A little toe in on the speakers and voila.
Even if I did not follow Danny’s design,
I was really surprised how good the speakers sounded,
of course not much bass, but still, I knew it was there.
Why I did not do it the right way the first time you will ask?
Because of very, very limited budget, the total cost for the two N3 speakers 50 USD + Danny’s N3 kit for which I paid approximately 340 USD.
Not bad for something that really sounds good.
I am surprised and to surprise me, it takes something really good.
One day, I will do the original design and maybe get blown away. (LOL).
Guy 13
I forgot, to mention, I did not get the grills made,
but if I get them made it will cost me about 20 USD/pair.
For now, don’t need them, because the speakers are in my penthouse and that place is not for my wife… It’s only for me.
