System Overview

Integrated modest HT system. This is it's best point and also it's worse point, but in 2ch it is very, very, very good. Holds it's own quite well. The amp section of the 1065 is excellent, but an obvious area of improvement would be with 1065 as a 2ch preamp. This is my current weak spot, while certainly acceptable it is the limiting factor for my source/dac subsystem. I2S, though, is a real advantage with the redbook rig, IMHO. I'm quite asinine when it comes to noise level and distortion, which is why I've had a hard time getting back into vinyl, just not for me anymore. A fair amount of ERS added to PT gear and supplies. Really lowers noise floor so imaging snaps in.

Other Comments

While an older rig using I2S with the mod'd PT gear and AA ddspro is better than anything I have heard in digital under 15K. As one can hear it takes serious money too best.
