I recently used what could be called single strand thin flat wire where each copper conductor is about a inch wide where the only problem was folding the wire leaf in such a way that it would fit into the o-ring speaker connector spade amp connector with out tearing the thin wire. This product is made by FRANKEVER. I was wondering if any other speaker cable manufacturer makes this cable. I would say this was an upgrade from the stranded speaker wire cable I was using the supra rondo. The main improvement notice was increased clarity from vocals where the spoken word was better understood. Vandersteen model 2 and model 3 speakers I think use solid core internal crossover cable creating a stronger synergy when using single strand solid flat wire cable. Better bass and treble.
