Haven't seen many mylar PA speakers. Unfortunately!

I always wondered what one would sound like - a very long line source with a horn flare from top to bottom.

I wish I could take these and put them head to head with a top of the line box speaker... These things slay  :green:

Maybe somebody in the Pacific Northwest Audio Club will have some nice speakers.

That's an engineering masterpiece. I'm glad they finally got completely away from the shaft driving the desmo valve gear. A chain is so much more efficient. That is an amazing bore to stroke ratio (1.84:1), and I suppose it is the main factor accounting for the insane amount of power from a twin of that size. It does make me wonder what the point would be at which there is no further advantage to be gained by going further over square.

Interesting how the dominant configurations in engines is still the piston type - not fundamentally changed from the 1880s. The cone/voice coil speaker was also patented in 1881, I  believe, and is still completely dominates.
yup, that engine is totally amazing.  and amazingly oversquare.  but, ducati got away from bevel drive in 1986, when they switched to belt driven desmo walve actuation; which most ducs today still have.  not sure there's a belt that could take the power this engine puts out...

i won't go off topic, discussing speaker types.  well, i will go a little off topic, and say there's wery little out there that sounds as sweet as a ducati at full song...   :green:

Incredible riding  :o :nono:  (can't say I haven't been there before as a teen with an F2). But I think I was just as fascinated by seeing daily traffic life in Moscow as I was the maneuvers.

The speedometer show top speed, but the bike is slow, road signals and others cars do not run fast, this top speed is a lie.
For comparison, this is a real top speed video with 3 bikes: BurgerKing, S1000RR & ZX10

You will see the cars and road marks really run fast, according the speed suggested on the title.

This is another fake speedometer video, as mention some YouTube posters.
Around 4minutes, the speedo run 140-180, but there is various small bikes and cars running along the bike camera.

Another one fake, this came to be comical, from a pretend bad boy, from the same CB500 kind bike,
= the camera show only/most a big Speedo,
= Around 40-50 seconds the road trees run very slow, but the speedo show 180, really.
= around 55-60seconds there is two cars that are slow to move.
You can laugh at this video, so false it is.
