Silence Is Broken
« on: 31 Aug 2010, 03:53 am »
I've been lurking here for 3 months or so and It's time to come clean . I called Seth on his cell a few weeks ago because I saw he was local and upon speaking to him about my interest in his products he was kind and personable
enough to suggest it would be fine if we met in person . I was very anxious
and wanted to hear and buy an one.2 for nearfield monitors in my home studio.
Well the more I read on these forums the more I realized I would prefer the
Sensation 451 decked out with full cap upgrades and Dodd buffer . So I
placed the order and told Seth I was coming to meet him . When I got to
his place I was surprised he was so young and he even took me out to buy
me lunch . I was pleased at the sound of the one.2 he had hooked up to
the Ascend cbm 170's and after waisting more of his tme he graciously gave me a new one.2 and 130 watt PS to break in and borrow while I waited for my Sensation. He also sent me away with some other freebies I did not expect at all , Thanks Seth.
Well my Sensation has over 100 hours logged on it and it exceeds my
expectations by far , I come from mainly a pro audio background and have
alot of Manley tube gear and listen to mostly pure sources I track myself.
That being said this new amp brings new life to my dads 40 year old
speaker collections and reel to  reel . I'm even archiving my CD collection
favs and some mp3's (jack Johnson) to DVD Audio with Cirlinka software
upsampling to 2496 and can't believe the results as I listen back through
Sensation ,I'm shocked at the detail and depth even mp3 audio upsampled
can give through this setup . Of course my sacd decks sound better but
the DVD audio discs save alot of hard drive space  and those upsampled
2496 discs are no slouch in their own right . If you have not tried it you
should give it a whirl especially with these Virtue amps . I truly am having
fun listening to my dads old hifi gear now that Sensation has brought new
life to the party to say the least . :P

I have been in sales for 25 years and it is rare to have a sales person
as intentive as Seth. I beleive in good customer service and he gives it
his all because he loves what he does, and he will be succesful because of
his dedication to his customers. A REAL CLASS ACT!!

Hi Seth , My cousin and I had a great time and want to become members
that was our first time at such an event and I enjoyed knowing someone
there (you). I was wondering if you had a chance to look at the slideshow
I gave you of the sensation ? I remember you putting it in one of your carry
bins on the floor , It has an EXE file with music for pc and a screensaver as well . I also included some of the jpegs I used in the slideshow , enjoy !

Tony,
Friggin' killer screen saver!  I'll post it up somewhere in case anyone wants to download.  Sort of crosses the line into Sensation stalker land so I don't think anyone but me (and you) will actually use it... but one heck of an effort.
THANK YOU!
Seth

Your screensaver was playing music to me the other night.  The best way to stay awake ;-)
