Title: What's unusual?
Post by: Dan Driscoll on 21 Jun 2011, 01:00 am
This is an unusual paragraph.  I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so
unusual about it.  It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it.
In fact, nothing is wrong with it!  It is highly unusual though.  Study it and think about it, but you
still may not find anything odd.  But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without
any coaching!

There is no letter 'e' in the entire paragraph?

Ah great observation.

I would also like to note it lacks semicolons.

That's right folks... Always thinking.

Don't believe there is a J,V,X or Z either. Good eye Steve.  :thumb:
I'm always thinking too. I think I'll have another beer.

An E is usually far more common, though.  As far as the "good eye", I actually remembered this from long ago.

Where is the OP? Would like to hear whether it is the 'E' factor or something else?

For me the paragraph is based on the a, o, i, u vowels. Or lack the e vowel again.

Absolutely and surely you solved it. I was being silly. :D

There also is no mention of Pink Floyd or any member thereof.
