Hello
I'm doing my mandatory postings before being able to search the site.
Audio equipment wise, since trying to replicate our favorite music is what it's all about I have the following. The signal path is started with a Bryston BDP-2 with the updated Bryston Audio card. Connected to a Bryston BDA-2 DAC usually, sometimes feed through the DAC built into a Yamaha CD-S2100. This goes into a McIntosh C22 Mark 5 tube pre and onto a MC462 SS amp. The final leg of the amplified signal goes onto either a pair of Thiel CS2.3s or CS3.6s.
I was a previous owner of Mc equipment back in the 80's and came back around to their wares. So far so good, just playing with cabling and interconnects, no silver anywhere in the flow as it pushes the Thiel's, mostly cs3.6, up in the brightness realm. Funny in that after all the speaker cable tests the BJC 10 gauge seem to work the best with this system, go figure...
Thanks for your time now go enjoy your music please...
