Would like to know how to get some dust/dirt off my mat....vacuum?
-
I have to brush mine periodically, and it's not especially easy. I'm eager to hear if there a better solution.
-
Try taking some blue painters tape, which has a very moderate adhesive, and use it to remove the dust/dirt. I've used it to clean my record brush and it does a good job and doesn't leave a residue.

I thought you could wash with soap and water but haven't tried it yet??

With a Way Excellent, Way Excellent II or grungebuster turntable mat, the best way to clean the mat and keep it clean is to just dab the mat gently from time to time with a wide piece of masking tape. The mat can also be cleaned by gently wiping with a paper towel or cloth lightly moistened with distilled water, denatured alcohol, window cleaner or anti-static spray.

I use a lint roller. Works perfectly.

The In the Groove record cleaner works great and is easier to use than masking tape.

Great suggestion! I've just ordered one. :)
