Hi Guys,

I'm cheating just a little bit.  I've just ordered a Bryston Turntable and waiting for it to be delivered.  This is my first high quality turntable as I've bought mid priced one's previously.  Now I need a better cartridge and phono stage.

Cheers Rod

Just finishing a full frame off restoration of this original VPI HW-19.  I've really fallen for this table and one would be really surprised how well it performs.  I have a VPI Prime next to it with a Grado that's 13X more expensive than the Black 2 installed in the HW-19.  The law of diminishing returns really applies here.

Is that a Jelco 250 arm?

I currently use a Jelco 750E (10 inch) on my Scheu Premiere Mk2 table and I'm shocked at the performance given its very reasonable price.

Sort of, Sumiko MMT.  Another VPI owner helped me out and had it with the arm board and a bunch of spares.

Technics SL-1200G.  I do use a Funk Firm Acromat (mat) sized for 1200 tables, but I wanted to showcase the platter.  Also shown with a Zupreme headshell and AT ART9 cart.

Is that an OL Silver arm I spy?  Great arm -- especially for the $$.   I rotate mine across my Townshend Rock 3 and OL Aurora 3.1 tables.

Buddy,

I have an AT ptgIII cart on it right now. I also just got an AT art 9 that I have not put on yet, because I just changed my phono preamp and amplifier. I wanted to hear the difference with the old cart before changing to the new one.
