True 32 bit ASIO Driver
« on: 4 Nov 2009, 04:23 am »
Anyone happen to see this over on 6 moons, here is a link to their website http://www.aqvox.de/asio-usb-e.html . I wonder if this actually will improve the sound over a a non audio ASIO driver version? Looks interesting :dunno: Apparently you can download the free trial version, however the limitation is a short disturbing signal every 60 seconds.
This annoying noise is removed after purchasing the activation-key for the full-version.

Looks like a variation of the USB-Audio ASIO driver that has been available for a few years and has a beep every 30 seconds in the trial version.

The site has always been slow and pages take forever to load be patient.

I have used both the ASIO4All and the USB-Audio driver with Windows XP. When I compared the two drivers a couple of years ago I prefered the sound of the USB-Audio driver so I bought it.

Last spring I compared XP with the USB-Audio driver to Vista using the WASAPI plugin for foobar. Vista wins with tighter better defined bass. I noticed the USB-Audio drivers have recently been updated and have not had a chance to try out the latest versions.
