Looking for Bass EQ software
« on: 17 Oct 2009, 08:16 pm »
To All:
   I'm thinking of trying out some Bass EQ on my system. I'm using stored WAV. files as my source with an ASIO connection to soundcard. I am using Winamp to operate this.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
BTW: If I have not given enough info let me know and I will post more if needed.
Thanks in advance to all who reply.
Regards;

I can't recall how to spell it, but "Thenue" is comes highly recommended and very versatile. It's not free though.

Theanu?

"Thu - know" is how you'd pronounce it.

Hope that helps.

I don't use it, but evidently there is some free software if you are using the Squeezbox system.   It is a great idea, it runs in their music server software and allows you to perform basic PEQ to each channel.

It sure as hell beats populating PCBs for a couple simple notches, but obviously has the limitation of not working with all your sources.

My thanks to all;
   I'm not a using a squeezebox system as my computer replaced that a long time ago, but again I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions, and I will attempt to investigate this further as time allows.

AudioLense is free, can scan a room for correction data. Convolver and foobar work on a PC. No squeezebox needed.  :thumb:
