70 into 70.2 mod burn-in

hi Vinnie,thks for doing your latest mods on the 70's i sent you.that was fast service.will i need to give those amps a burn time or are the good to go right out of the box?? thks Pat  :D

Hi Pat,

Right out of the box, they sound better than the 70s.  The improvement is that obvious. 

However, there are a few capacitor changes made in this upgrade (input and output stages)and these will need 100 - 200 hours of burn-in to sound their best, so expect things to get even better!  :drool:

This is also applicable to the Signature 30 upgrade to the 30.2.

The Signature 30.2 stereo amplifier w/o volume control looks exactly like this, but says "30.2" on the bottom  :wink:

I don't know anything about the burn-in, but my sound-upgraded 70.2s just arrived at my office.
