Hi Pat,

Right out of the box, they sound better than the 70s.  The improvement is that obvious. 

However, there are a few capacitor changes made in this upgrade (input and output stages)and these will need 100 - 200 hours of burn-in to sound their best, so expect things to get even better! 

This is also applicable to the Signature 30 upgrade to the 30.2.
