Perhapse I missed it in one of your posts but what is the 1" dome you plan to use as an option for this mtm design, the 6600?

Do you have a rough price point for the MTMWW in a kit form with the Aurasound's and the 6600 for a tweeter?

Rick, what are the approximate cabinet dimensions of a sealed MTM?  Or maybe more important, what is the volume of the sealed cabinet?  Thanks!

Hello
I'm curious what the difference in sound would be between the two tweeters. I love the sound of the  Fountek ribbon tweeter and wondering what the 6600 brings to the table.

The 6600 has a more extended low end response, more "body" for lack of a better term. It has a slightly softer presentation but retains good detail. Very listenable and uncolored.

Hello Rick. Could you give an estimate of the F3 of the sealed MTM? And, if I decided to do a kit, are there any ready-made (parts express?) cabinets available for this design? Also, what would the price be for the single-woofer towers?

I have a small, 12'X14' room for my two-channel rig and the speakers must be placed along the short wall, I'm just trying to decide what would work best in this space.

Thanks.

The MTM sealed is -3db @85hz with a very gradual rolloff (-10db@47hz). With a single woofer added an assembled floorstanding pair would run about $5,800. For the MTM sealed version there are no prefab cabinets that would be the right dimensions and internal volume.

$2,650/pr. (includes drivers,assembled crossovers,misc. parts, and shipping)

Any chance of getting this with the MTM section having an open baffle?

With CC use the smaller ribbons dictate vertical placement for best results. If you want a horizontal CC the Pro5i ribbon is a better choice (adds $250 to the cost).

Is this because the Pro5i can be crossed over lower? In that case, would the WMTW design with Accutons that you already did work? If so, will that be offered in kit form and if so how much would the kit cost?

No problem, we can do that.

The horizontal MTM's with small ribbons and 5-7" woofers all suffer from horizontal off-axis problems due to the center-to-center spacing of the woofers - that's why we don't build them. The Pro5i can cross lower so that the 5" woofers can be used.

Thanks for the replies, Rick. This line up (along with your flexibility) should truly be a winner :).
