The more the merrier. I'm in the north bay with a new hi fi store here.

That's right, I listen to some kef blades there and they were wonderful.

I finally got to visit the store, it is on the East side of San Pablo next to Berkeley Lighting Co. not far south of Acme bread. It's a FUN store. They have a mix of modern and new - mostly affordable. I saw quite a few turntables, radios, consoles, an internet tuner, a bluetooth class D amp, vintage Dynaco speakers and some McIntosh electronics. Very friendly guy I talked to, I think his name is Warren. The have lots more gear than fits in the store in a warehouse and sell on EBay as berkeleystereo.

I have to go pay it a visit. I need to go to a hardwood supplier there anyway. Thanks for the heads up.

They have new holiday hours: Wed-Sun 2-7.
Just sold some stuff there so I know they have:
Empire 598 Troubadour with Stanton 681EEEE
Rega Planet cd player
Ah! Tjoeb '99 cd player
Don Allen modified CD changer
Fried Model R speakers
Sony ST-J75, Pioneer F90, Proton 440, Hitachi FT-920 tuners
I saw a McIntosh C20 preamp and Mcintosh MC240 amp in the store and heard about several Altec speakers in the warehouse.
