Quick post here -40, mechanical/aerospace engineer with a speaker purchasing and designing problem. Meandering along the path of applied science and acoustics, just having fun with some non-conventional designs. Current main system is some NHT M7's, a couple of sealed 18" ultimax subs, a stack of crown amps and some DIRAC processing courtesy of a minidsp. I have a similar system in the computer room, but smaller subs for space reasons.
Currently interested in some open baffle near field subwoofers, cooking up something big and nasty for the main system.
