Was checking this out at my Step-Bro's place Tuesday. Looked pretty damn cool. But it was giving his 'puter a bit of a hard time. And he doesn't have an underpowered machine at all.

So I'm wondering if any of you guys have experience with it, and if so does it run your 'puter into the ground?

I have not been impressed with the Sims.  But before our trip to the Bay area this past week when my 'puter was down, my buddy showed me a demo.  He has a p2.4 1gb ram and a 4400 vid card.  He had no problems showing the beauty of this game.  I was impressed.  I like visuals in my games and this one rocks.  Gameplay seemed pretty easy to pick up, intuitive and dynamic.  I am going to pick up a copy myself.

Havn't played it yet but might get a chance this weekend.  I was always a fan of SimCity 2000 over 3.  I don't know there is just something special about it.  And I agree with Woodsea.  The Sims havn't done a thing for me.  Just can't see playing people with a computer.
