This is one of the PSET monoblocks he built for me. I’ll get a few better pictures tomorrow.

How about those photos? :D Thanks.
I've had an exchange of emails with the builder. Can you hear any noise with your ear right next to the tweeter? Like you I'd be using this in a biamp situation. 110db compression drivers.

i would vote for CARY 805 monoblocks-I have them and see them regularly on used sites for 3-5000 and CARY still supports them with maintenance and upgrade programs for components even if your amps are 20 plus years old like mine.

10Y to 300B tube amp made by Oliver Sayes.  It's custom, so you can spend as much or as little as you want on parts.  I would totally do Dave Slagle's iron, but you can go cheaper on iron.  It will drive your 100db speakers fine.  I am using an amp of similar design that can run  10Ys into 300B, 6A3 or 275A (WE tubes) with changing a few switches.  The main issue is that my speakers are 92db right now, so I stick with 300Bs.  In either instance, it is perfect flexability.  If I was running 100db speakers, I would look at a 45 or 46 amp.  I never listen to 100db.  But there are so many tubes that can drive 100db speakers.

These are my Audio Note Kits ( ANK) 300b Interstage Mono Block amps. Tubes are Genelex Gold Lion PX300b outputs, 6HS7 driver, and NOS RCA 5Y3 rectifier. They are mated with an ANK L3 preamp modified to L4 level. Sound is dynamic, detailed, with 3D engaging soundstage through Charney Audio Companion horns.

Sorry for the very late response. I hear no noise with my ear next to the tweeter with no program and my preamp volume turned way up.

Additional photos (they need dusting):

I’m really interested in checking out a pair of these amps but looks like the eBay page is down. Any other contacts to this seller.
