VMPS Front and CENTER selection

Some were somewhat "aghast" a few weeks ago when I suggested that the RM40 was the Perfect BIG system "SUPER CENTER".

To that end it might be useful to know that with the CDWG many of the models can now be used as a CENTER speaker.

But I wanted to further report the feedback I have received from a client today, who has just placed "DUAL RM30C's" for his Center duties under his 12 foot screen.

He has them "head to head" under his screen and he said the seemless sonic width is breathtaking.

So for center duties, depending on the type of system you have we have this line up:

* RM40 Horizontal

* Pair RM30C head to head Horizontal

* Single RM30C Horizontal

* Pair 626R or 626jr head to head Horizontal

* LRC (front ported)

* Single 626R or 626jr

The 626R and 626jr with CDWG can be used either vertical or horizontal, but it does not work well in a cabinet due to the rear port (however it can be stuffed if cabinet placement is a must)

Another excellent thing to consider for those considering "acoustically transparent" screens.  Since these have a tendency to "reduce" the clarity and detail a bit, simply remove the CDWG's and you will find the sparkle has returned.

So screen down CDWG off, screen up for audio, CDWG on. :green:
