Title: Sold :Selah Tempestas, price reduction, new pics

Due to new family situations I've lost my man-cave main listening area and the loss of space provides the incentive to thin the herd and sell some gear.

The first offering is my 6 y/o Selah Tempestas, in excellent condition with no chips or dings and look and sound as they should. These were beautifully paired with the Selah Compatos as rears (also for sale -see later ad coming soon.)
 
By now I'm guessing that everyone is familiar with Rick Craig's best selling 3ways. Front ported and easily placed, the Tempestas are 22" high standmounts with some of the very best drivers of the day: RAAL ribbon tweeter, Accuton 2" ceramic upper midrange, and ScanSpeak's top line 7" Illuminator aluminum cone mid/bass woofers. The list price of the drivers alone was about $1600.

Sonically, when placed on 20" stands with about 12" behind them they throw a large soundstage and do the disappearing act very well indeed. These truly captivating speakers are extremely well balanced revealing great imaging specificity, depth and focus without any hint of harshness or listening fatigue.

I'm offering here to A/C members now for $1750. Auditions possible, local pick-up encouraged, meet up for delivery on East Coast possible, shipping from 14620 possible in original boxes. I’ll eat the PayPal fees, buyer pays shipping costs from 14620.

That is an insanely good price. If I didn't spend so much on Black Friday / Cyber Monday, I would be all over these.

Thanks dkalsi. Yes these are insanely good speakers and if I had the space I wouldn’t let them go. In fact I like Rick’s speakers so much that I’m withdrawing the Compattos I had on listed for sale. I just can’t do it.

Thanks for the update. Very nice speakers. Would have taken them off your hands if they were still available. I've been a Selah fan for a couple decades now ;)

I'm so glad these are sold. Now I can move on :-).

Hard to imagine a better speaker in this price range.
