Perhaps a problem with my WOW1's
« on: 25 Apr 2022, 08:01 pm »
I've had my Salk Sound WOW1's for three years. Wonderful speakers!  I recently got a Topping EX5 DAC and a Topping PA5 Amp.  I have been taking measurements with REW & the minidsp Mic.
Here's my problem:
The attached Freq Resp Graph shows the average of 5 measurements taken on the 19th & 25th of April.
Have I damaged my speakers?
Thanks,
John

Looks like the red has DSP for flattened FR, while the blue is missing the woofers and has a brickwall low pass filter at 7500. 7500 is not a typical crossover freq and xo filters arent brickwall.
So it's doubtful that a "broken speaker" could measure like that. Except for the missing woofers on blue.

Edit: your notes state "filter #2"

To Quote Roseanna Roseannadanna "Never Mind"!  Sorry!  I redid the measurements just now... back to normal.

Thanks,

"Nevermind" ...that would be Emily Litella. "What's all this I hear about endangered feces?"
