Be sure to check out the Von Schweikert / Channel Islands set-up in room 1004: Von Schweikert Unifield 2's driven by Channel Islands Audio D200 MKII Class D monoblocks.

Or listen to the Moscode / Von Schweikert set-up in room 465: Moscode 402Au Tube Hybrid amplifier driving Von Schweikert Unifield 3's.

Any interest about a meeting for all VSA-OC members at the RMAF ?

Don't forget the VR77s.  Yes, if we attend a VSA get together would be great.  Not sure of trip finances heading into the fall. :?

How many folks here are heading to Denver? I'm looking at the hotel and it appears to be a way out from downtown but I guess that's the place to be.

Hi,

I planned to come to Denver but I can't 'leave the ship' for now.

Have fun at the show.

Hope to see some pictures of all together.

Hey Delacroix,

See if you can round up all the VSA circle posters for a group picture.  Finances and work won't allow me to attend so I envy you.
Have fun and be sure to tell us your impressions of the VR77s...high five Albert for me :thumb:

I'll be at RMAF but am staying at my brothers place in Firestone which is way out of town. I'll be comparing the sound of the Unifield 2's to my modified VR2's.  :green:

Wayne, I think you should be building Albert's cabinets :thumb:

Maybe we could trade, but Albert's prices would have to go up.

I was thinking about a little something in mesquite.

A snap shot of my latest project. This week was install week as in take out the old entry and install the new one before dark.  The jamb is African mahogany with an ebony stain, the mesquite doors are 2.5" thick with book matched panels.

Hi Wayne,

That would be nice.

A set of bookmatched Mesquite VR 5 SE Anniversary.

Talk to Albert.

Yes, Albert will be at RMAF.  I am looking forward to meeting him.  I'll be there displaying my AudioRak's in his rooms.  I will be seeking out everyone with wood finishing skills for a little advice.  I am an amateur just learning and I am still not happy with my shelf finishes.  I need some tips on applying even stains and smooth finishes.  My finishing skills are improving but and my products are still a little rough.  I feel I need just a touch more practice and a bit more knowledge to bring them to a true professional furniture quality.

Fritz Heiler (of Fritzspeakers) is already on my brain picking list.  :D   I'd like to do a little picking of Wayne's brain, too, if I may...  I'll be around.

I am really looking forward to the show.  The "highest" end equipment I have ever heard is my Parasound Halo/Paradigm Reference system and a friends pair of 25 year old Maggies.  I am looking forward to listening to Von Schweikerts for the first time and many of the other megabuck set-ups.

Wayne - You shouldn't miss me...  I am a big guy with a greying ash blond ponytail.

Well, I'm old enough to have seen millions of doors and those are THE prettiest ones I've ever laid eyes on.   :thumb:  Great work!  And here I thought mesquite just made for great steak smoking in the bbq.

Well one thing is for sure, WGH's doors are SMOKIN' HOT!  I wish I had a house to build around them. The condo corp. doesn't let us touch the doors.
