...BUT the original models, in my case coupled with good old Blue Tack to shot-filled, major market stands, are wonderful things in their own right.

Drill holes and whatnot at your own risk. :nono:

Hi Bosh,
  What mods do you plan on performing on the TS3.
  I have both sets of cabinets and go back to the original to play around a bit with the damping internally.

...much beyond the ones the TS1-R Gandes "came with":  ie:  the "R" indicates all Cardas ineternal wire and binding posts.  Some interesting internal wire/binding post options are being mulled over, and I may, next time I find the required hours for some serious A/B listening, play around with that dowel tweak that's been mentioned on this board.

Beyond that, I plan to stick with the 'speakers I bought.
