Please tell me this USB out from the Node should be equivalent to pricier brands like Lumin and Auralic. Thanks!

My experience has been adding an outboard linear power supply upgrade kit improves the Node significantly.  These kits are available from Teddy Pardo and PD Creative as well as others.  They are pretty easy to install.  IMO this improves the sound of the Node a lot.

Ok I will Google that. But did some searching and this guy and some of his buddies compared the Node and Lumin D2 with a controlled blind test and all of them couldn't tell the difference.
