Title: Crossover modification
Post by: greyowl07 on 27 Mar 2019, 10:02 am
I have the Tyler Acoustics Decade D2 & would like to upgrade the crossovers. Looking for a similar sound to the Joseph Audio Perspectives which emphasize clarity & resolution. The two spks have similar build & use the same drivers so essentially the crossovers are what's different. What parts brand would you recommend? A search on-line showed upgrades were made with Clarity Caps, Janzen supreme Caps, Erse inductors & Mills resistors. Do I go with the highest quality available for each brand or is there an optimal combination for a specific sound? Thanks.
