ULW-10 Subwoofer specs?
« on: 28 Sep 2010, 08:24 pm »
Danny/Others,

I got a couple of these woofers from the AV123 auction and can't seem to find any specs on them for entering into a box calculator - does anyone have that info?

The ULW-10 enclosure I do have currently seems way too small for much output and doesn't even bump that hard when placed in a corner compared to what I am used to.  The baskets and such look a lot like the TC Sounds 10" dvc but there is no way these have that much xmax.  I am thinking of possibly building a set of towers using some of the other AV123 parts I have(ref-1 crossovers, x-series tweets, peerless woofers) and debating on putting a ULW-10 powered in the base of each of them.

I think I might have gotten one of those in the stuff from that auction.

Can you sand me a pic of it so I can tell if this one that I got is the same?

Danny,

This is what I am referring to - thanks.

And here is the AV123 enclosure that just doesn't seem to perform due to it's small size....

That's a wicked nice looking driver, and the specs look quite good for a small sealed box with some EQ.

I hate to ask how much those sold for.

How much for 2 shipped to 44321?

BTW, any idea of Xmax?  I'd guess it's probably about 12mm.

I will under sell Danny just to get rid of mine!!  I lost my ass on shipping from colorado and would be happy to sell the two I have! Or how about the complete birds eye maple one I have with a new 240watt amp - hehe!..;) With the auction price and shipping I am easily in the hole a $120 for the pair...if I could break even I would be happy.  UPS Ground at 30 pounds = $43 from 98290 to 44321.  Let me know if you are the least bit interested...

I thought I had two of them but I don't. The other one is different. I just have one. Make an offer and it's yours.

I might, need to look in the garage as I bought all the UFW-10 cabinets.

I plan on doing an upgrade kit for use with duals, just havent had time to get at it yet.
