Clayton,
Great to meet you on Sunday! I was very impressed with the X3 in both rooms, so much so that I am seriously considering placing a deposit. Both of my friends that were with me were impressed as well, even though I had to explain how they make such great bass with no enclosure...

Forgot to share this link from Part Time Audiophlie regarding the X3

yes! i enjoyed both spatial rooms at axpona. was not knowledgeable or a fan going in, but emerged a spatial fan coming out. the spatial rooms had some of the best non-fatiguing full-range sound at axpona, imho, and tho not cheap seemed like some of the best speaker values there.
there was a bit of lack of information in the rooms, and apparently the same model speakers were exhibited in each room. the model name(s) were not clearly posted and i did not catch them, but you guys likely know which ones they were. :)
after axpona, spatial rose to near the top of my speaker list.

I listened to both rooms and was really happy with the X3's, but particularly liked them with the LTA tube amp. I have the M4TM and it is clear that these speakers have more presence in the LF and a more distinct high end. I am an utter devotee of Spatial Audio speakers, the best I have heard in my system in 45 years of having dozens of speakers.
