Checking out some of my spare XlR cables today from Bluejeans.
Looking on the jackets it is written AES-EBU 110 ohm digital 13pF/FT.
Shouldn't these be strictly for digital.
Been using some as add ons from my amps to my pre's(30 ft).
Checked out Bluejean site and it says,great for digital or analog.
I'm thinking something not correct here,other wise why make both.

No, In fact I was using my Empirical audio xlrs as a digital ic until I started using a dedicated 110 xlr for digital.

Yes the AESEBU digital spec calls for 110 ohms which is available in cables. The small issue is that no 110 ohm XLR connectors exist as far as I know

The physical length of an XLR connector is way, way to short to have any impact on a low RF frequency signal like AES/EBU.

I was more concerned using the AES-EBU 110 ohm for analog hookups.
Did some searching and alot of studios use the AES XLR cables for analog,but don't use analog XLR cables for digital.
My BDA and BCD-1 use a dedicate AES cable,where I've been adding a few lengths to make up 30 or so feet to my amps and pre's.
