Cheap and Cheerful Preamp With Remote

What is your recommendation for a cheap and cheerful preamp with multiple inputs and a remote? No phono. Pre-crazy inflation guidelines would put the upper limit at $350 for it.

I suppose the big question is do you need passive, or do you want a preamp with some gain.

Definitely a preamp with gain. I could live with a single input if necessary.

Schiit Saga S. $299

I haven't used it, but other things I've bought from Schiit has been very good for the price.

Comes in silver as well, and for $399 there's a tube option (Saga+)

Unless you move up to the Freya, which really isn’t Cheap and Cheerful, none of the Schiit preamps have gain. I don’t think the Topping does either. Unfortunately, cheap preamps with gain and remote control are few and far between…I can’t think of any off the top of my head. Maybe Parasound makes something.
