This guy IMO is one of the real class acts in baseball.

Jerry Remy takes leave to recover from cancer surgery

I don't think I have ever heard him say anything derogatory about anyone, including Yankees!  :) Critique their play? Sure.
Here is hoping for a quick recovery from this setback. Eck is great, but we love Jerry in Red Sox Nation.

Rem is a great guy. I always enjoyed him on NESN and he was a damn good, hard nosed 2nd baseman. I miss working in Boston and the passionate Bo Sox fans. I wish the man well!!
