Does anyone know how much the VMPS RM/X's cost? And when they will be available?

The RM/x is priced at $9800 with authorized dealers (of which I just happen to be one along with Hal, in SO CA :) ) offering special pricing to AudioCircle members.

RM/x price

That's $9800pr plus shipping, John.  The RM/X ships at 700 lbs/pr.  To the East Coast or Deep South thats about $550.

Auricaps ($550pr) or TRT caps ($1200) bring the already high price EVEN HIGHER!  Geez...  Plus you can get veneers for STILL MORE MONEY!!

Brian,

Just look at that guy.  He will be "picking up" the speakers to save the shipping

All the best,

John

Fastest X delivery

With all due apologies to the other friendly VMPS dealers at the forum.

I personally gaurantee fastest delivery of any RMX model for several reasons which I will explain in an email upon request.  I am 10 miunutes from the shop making the cabinets at this very moment, which are severly backordered.

Plus I am the only dealer offering two free proprietary Emulator upgrades.

With over 15 years VMPS sales & construction experience at the Plant the service is hard to beat.

Please show a little more class next time.  I think John Casler deserves a little more respect than that.

Sounds like we need to do a double blind test - we can order a pair of RM-X speakers from every VMPS vendor and which ever is the fastest will be the "winner", and the only one we'll pay for the speakers from.  Good idea?

Intersting that Ravi did not request an explanation in private as I invited all to do in my post.  I personally would be very interested in minimizing any delivery delay if I was purchasing a loudspeaker.  And the more expensive the speaker the more I'd be interested.  I can only estimate Ravi is a happy Casler customer, & if that is the case I am happy for them both.

I was/am a customer of both Ribbonspeaker.net and John Casler.  PM me if you want to know who I would go with for future VMPS speaker purchases :-).

If a reader is offended by the fact that I am 10 minutes away from the cabinet shop (by motorcycle, about 15 by car) & that there are services I can provide as a result, I apologize.  It was of course not my intent to offend anyone, but to state a fact which might well be of interest to a shopper.
