Got my amp back on Thurs. aft. She gained a little weight while she was away!
After popping the hood to check the new goods, I let her come to room temp. b4 plugging in the 2 power cords-yes it is now a dual mono. Let things warm up for 1/2 hour turned on, and popped in a disc. Right away heard better bass athority, but the mids & highs sounded kinda nasty.Anyway, after 2 days of non-stop music going through her, things are getting much better. The speaks are starting to disappaer and everything is getting smoother. Now just patience is needed for the next break-in period. Very pleased so far. For the money and the 1 month less a day wait time, (man that was sooo long to be without tunes), a very worth while endevour imo. And of coarse, as usual Klaus was a pleasure to deal with.
