Next step: fully active (one amp per driver, with low voltage crossovers) like the professionals typically use.   :thumb:

Typically, the Beryllium tweeter is paired with a larger midrange to move downward/benefit the mid/woofer crossover. I guess (just guessing) the tweeter/midrange has a shallow slope passive and the driver selection is likely optimized for near-field listening.

Yes, a larger mid could be used but I wanted to make a more compact cabinet for regular and nearfield listening. Tonally this is one of the best designs I have ever done (and that includes many!).
