OK, here's the best setup I could come up with with my room constraints.   The side speakers on shelves have been there since late 2001.  I know the side speakers don't have perfect placement, but to help they are aimed away from the wall. The great off axis sound of the 4.0s makes it work. Two pics of back and surround ceramic 4.0s.  Subwoofers can be seen also.

Three pics of front three marble 4.0s.  It looks like the plate my center speaker is on is aiming down but that is just the angle of the picture.  There are two extra large door stops under the plate that the center speaker sits on and they aim the plate slightly up.  The 4.0 center speaker also has a little extra piece under it's legs to aim it right where it should be.  I think the angle of the pic is funky.

What HT config are your spekers in? Is it 7.1? Never had that, so not used to seeing 4 speakers in the rear. Two of them could be in the middle position?

I can only imagine they must sound terrific since I have never heard one.

When the lights are down low while you're watching a scary movie (and you've had a couple drinks) do any of them appear to move?

Correct, 7.1.  I've played around with the back two moving closer together and aiming differently and sometimes still do to try to get the best sound.
