Good catch John.
Looks like most of the infected apps are simulators. Doesn't affect me as much as it does my grand kids. I'll forward this to my son so he can check their phones/pads.
They didn't mention removal. I would assume AVG/Norton and the like are working on updating their programs?

I saw an audio processing app in there. Anyway, I think I read that you would need to reboot in safe mode and delete the apps. My understanding is this is not a virus per se but it - or something similar - could be in future now they've figured out how to do it.
