I currently have a VPI Nomad with Grado Platinum 1 cartridge. I have somewhat limited room in my living room. I used to own a pair of Magnepan MMGs, very good for the money, do require decent power. I have been contemplating getting a pair of Wild Burro Betsy drivers put into a pair of mini me baffles with audio 10 wooden phase plugs. I believe that the mmgs are going to have little more bass and the betsy's are going to be little more dynamic. How about the midrange and high end of the betsy's compared to the mmgs? Mind you the betsy's with the wooden phase plugs. Does the high end of the betsy's with wooden phase plugs reach about 20htz in the high end? Not interested in adding seperate tweeter if I can help it. Of course I understand the betsy's from what I gather sound good with a low powered tube integrated such as the spud amp. Ger.
