Title: RM-10 with mono preamp
Post by: The_Gief on 8 Mar 2014, 01:17 am
Please, may I ask about the RM-10's mono switch and the proper connections for my particular setup?

I am interested in using my RM-10 as a mono amp because I have only one speaker and a mono preamp (Fisher 80C).

Speaker:  After switching the amp to mono, how should I connect the speaker wires to the amp's speaker taps?

Source:  From the mono preamp, does it matter which input I use?  Do I need to split the mono rca into two lines for the amp's L & R?

Excuse my inexperience and thanks for the advice!

Use the left jack for the input, its the only one that will play. Use either set of speaker terminal as they are connected in parallel when the switch is activated.
