Hey it is good for me to know that the Geddes have such a strong following. Speaks well of the brand and puts them on my radar. As long as Geddes owners aren't shouting down other suggestions, I don't see what the problem is on a thread like this.

Because the thread is Your Favorite Speakers (besides the ones you own)? with an emphasis on besides the ones you own.

Oh right. Well then that should read "As long as Geddes fans who are non-owners don't shout down..."

Correction granted.  It's really just common sense, I'm sure the OP was trying to avoid another thread full of overzealous owners touting how wonderful their buying decisions were.  It has been working pretty well so far with a lot of great selections full of audio porn pictures to make you drool.

Sorry Jason, I was a bit brusque there  Anyway, as Dan says it seems obvious - perhaps we should split out this diversion and get back on topic?

I'd have to say open baffle (those Linkwitz Orions would suite me just fine).

Wilson Audio Polaris system, basically a pair of very hi-end center channels, also designed for low profile needs, like non-obstruction of large low video screens, etc. (or a view of the city...which still couldn't be seen from that chaise lounge thing either :) )

Too bad that tile/stone floor and large glass windows screw up the sound so much....

A bit lighter than the MAXX 3 - 294 lbs. for the Polaris versus 420 lbs. for the MAXX 3.  The Polaris uses two 9.5" woofers versus one 10.5" and one 13" in the MAXX 3.

I was checking out the webpage- I'd like to try the big Robot looking ones on the left then the right side ones, these may have just displaced my previous fav's from Focal, these Wilsons are just COOL looking in my book. It looks to me like a Robot family with the kid being the low ones and then Mom and Dad....LOL...I'm nuts...sorry...long day

Wonder if Sasha will get a big sister that has Aspherical Propagation Delay geometry like the Polaris this year?
