I’m finally pulling the trigger on upgrading my Khartago monos to best possible Kismit!
As soon as Klaus sends me a box (i bought them used minus 1 box) off they go for the Klaus treatment. I have a ton of tweak items I’m dying to try, but can’t until the upgraded Kismit are broken in and I’m familiar with how they sound.
What tweaks no one asked? Connection treatment. (wall socket, AC cord both ends, stock fuses, interconnects, speaker cables, cartridge pins)
Vibration dampers I’ll try on anything as long as they don’t cover ventilation holes.
New interconnects, TT to phono preamp, phono pre to preamp, preamp to amps.
I’ll stop there as I already hear people yawning. If any of you are playing with this stuff let me know so we can compare notes.
