Title: Almarro A205A with De Capos?

Yes. In my opinion, not enough power except for very low level listening. The A318B would be a better choice.

  Have tried the Almarro 318 with the 3M DCs (both of which i own) and they work quite well together IMHO. Alas, never heard the 205 :(

We have auditioned the Reference 3A with Almaro integrated (SET) amp.  I think in a medium sized room, the Almaro/3A would make an excellent combination.  The setup below is musical to my ears.  You may noticed the speaker orientation in the opposite side of L & R.  Regardless, it sounds good.
The picture was taken from one of our NY Audio Rave gatherings.  You cannot expect too much from a set amp but this one rocks! :wink:
