Hi Steve,
What tube dampers and size would you recommend for the following ST-shape tubes:
- 6C6 - 39mm at the shoulder (widest part)
- EML 2A3 and JJ 2A3-40 - both 62mm at the shoulder
I prefer a sound that makes my toe-tap, is tonally well-developed, vibrant, and free of glare/ edge. Cost difference between products is not an issue.
I am thinking HAL-O III-65 would be best for the 2A3s and maybe the HAL-O III-40 for the 6C6, but thought I would check.
Cheers,
Ray

Hi, Ray. HAL-O III-65 and HAL-O III-40 would be ideal for these tubes.
