Title: Anyone using Zu Omens in 5.1 configuration?
Post by: abanks8 on 21 Mar 2011, 01:49 pm
I have been thinking about upgrading my old Infinity RS speakers to something newer.  I been following recent threads regarding the Zu Omens and was wondering if anyone actually used them in a 5.1 home theater set up.  Zu Audio shows that they offer an Omen center channel and Omens bookshelf speaker, so is it worth the money to upgrade?

I have a 5.1 system consisting of Omen Def fronts, Omen Standard surrounds, an Omen center and an SVS SB12 Plus subwoofer.  This is being powered by a Pioneer VSX-9140TXH receiver with an Oppo BDP-83 as a source.  It is fabulous for HT.  Where it really shines is with concerts on BD, SACDs and DVD-A's.
