Please see the questions in the "Questions About 938 Crossovers" thread below.

Specifically - are the crossovers 1st-order?  If not, what?  If you don't mind, could you explain the technical reasons behind their high-effeciency and SET-friendly nature?  I'm just curious.  I have been pretty amazed of late at how well even an 8W SET amp drives them.  Thank you.

Dear Paul,

Thank you for your support.  938 are equipped with the S.V.F. driver.  That is the reason.  They are extremely efficient and fast.  The drivers are arranged on 2nd order, not 1st order.  Currently, only 968 have drivers on 1st order.

Paul,  I thought so.  In theory, a 1st order should sound better because of least amount of phase distortion.
