I'm back in business !
« on: 8 Sep 2011, 12:38 am »
Guys

Cami and I are finally somewhat settled and my tools are mostly lined up so I'm ready to build some cables.

I also offer Power cables through JT Dynamic Power (Filtered or unfiltered, 10&12awg)

30 day money back guarantee (less shipping of course)

I can build speaker cables, interconnects, coax digital cables any length you want.
multiple item purchases get varying discounts depending on the amount.

Very nice.

What type of A/C filtering do you use on the PC?

if you search "felix" in Audiocircle you will see the same design I use but I use high current chokes.
its a fairly simple basic cap/choke/cap filter

just like that minus the fuse, circuit board, and aluminum case.
I do point to point crimp and solder and a plastic case.
I should do aluminum though... maybe  :)

I wish I could have gotten my hands on a bunch of those circuit boards it sure makes building them easier.

you should be in the power cable business :)

Oh you just wait....until you see my next version.  I promise it will be a first on A.C.   :green:

I think you should add a fuse.

Excuse my ignorance, but what benefits does the filter on the power cable bring?

I think you should add a fuse.

I've got a 6 outlet felix box I did with digital and analog circuits, its pretty cool but there are to many power filters out there already for me to run with that.

I cant wait to see your next one!

fuses get in the way of the sound. amplifiers have fuses as do wall outlets (ok breakers) either way fuses limit current flow and I've found things sound better without them. (my opinion of course)

Excuse my ignorance, but what benefits does the filter on the power cable bring?

A/C voltage is noisy and creates interference these filters help control and stop some of that noise.

ultimately getting off the power grid completely is best (batteries)
